Simmed Engineering takes great pride in our fabrications that we offer our customers. Our platforms, mezzanines and heavy-duty stairways are no exception. These products provide safety, access, improved workflow and additional storage to a facility. From small crossovers, large safety work platforms or roof access stair assemblies our Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) compliant designs can be engineered and certified to your specifications. All our fabrications are durable enough for indoor or outdoor use, and are typically used in residential, commercial or industrial settings.
Modular Platforms
There are a variety of options with this system from custom length and width, weight load requirements, access stairs, path configurations, grating material, and paint colors. Each platform and handrail section is designed to accompany the adjoining the next for a seamless fit at installation. The bolt together assemblies are a great choice for fitting in those not so convenient locations.
Aluminum Platforms
When installing heavy duty steel platforms is not an option, consider using an aluminum design. These lighter weight platforms incorporate the same safety and structural integrity as our steel designs, but without the excess weight. This style platform is easier to place in those hard to reach areas and works well for roof applications where weight and weather are concerns.

Our Industrial Stairway product line includes 36 Degree Industrial Stairway, Industrial Stairway Platform, 57 Degree Access Stairway Ladder and 60 Degree Access Stairway Ladder.
Painted Steel Industrial Stairways are the least cost option. Aluminum and Stainless Steel Industrial Stairways are available in some models as a special order custom product. The aluminum models offer rust proof, lightweight and easy to move construction, ideal for wet environments. The steel construction model is for those heavy duty applications where extra durability is needed.
